How booking works
We think you should have all the data. Study the prices, ask Barnaby anything, and when you're ready to book, we're here — a small team who handles everything from quote to boarding.
Your card goes to the cruise line, not to us. Same fare as booking direct.
Pick a ship and date from the site, or just tell us what you're after — region, month, cabin type, who's traveling. If you've been using our price tools, we already have the numbers in front of us.
Within one business day you get the price, the price history for that cabin, where the sailing sits on our value scale, and any current promotions or group rates worth knowing about — verified with the cruise line before we send it. No pressure; keep it or ask for alternatives.
When you say go, we book it — at the cruise line's published fare, through the Cruise.com Host Agency (a CLIA member travel agency we're part of). Your deposit and every later payment go straight to the cruise line, and you get the cruise line's own confirmation.
We watch the price after you book and tell you if it drops. We handle changes and questions. Before you sail, we make sure your documents are set — most lines now issue e-docs directly through their own website, so we'll walk you through registering there.
Why book with us
Cruise lines set the fare, and it's the same everywhere. So the question isn't what you save — it's what you get. Here's the honest list.
The cruise line shows you today's price. We show you where it sits against months of price history for that ship and cabin — so you know whether you're buying near the bottom or the top before you commit.
If the fare drops before final payment, we go back to the cruise line for the lower rate or an upgrade. The line has no reason to call you about that. We do.
A cruise line's agent sells you that line. We compare across all of them and tell you when a different ship, date, or cabin is the better value — even if it's cheaper.
Our AI assistant isn't a chatbot: he's a model with access to our entire price database and the history behind it — data that mostly isn't public. Ask him anything, any hour, with no one selling you. When it's a judgment call, he hands you to a human.
Changes, cancellations, questions, a problem with the line — one call to people who already know your booking, not a rotating call center.
Through our host agency we can often place you into group space or promotions that never show on the cruise line's public site — always verified with the line before we quote it.
The fare is the same. Your card goes to the cruise line. The cruise line pays us after you sail — so our incentive is a booking you're happy with, not a higher price.
Someone on the team is always reachable. Your booking never depends on one person's calendar. We reply within one business day.
Meet the team →The fare is identical — cruise lines set the price and it's the same everywhere. What's different is what you get: we show you where that price sits against months of history for the exact ship and cabin, we keep watching the fare after you book and go back to the line if it drops, we compare across every cruise line rather than selling you one, and you get one small team for changes and questions instead of a call center. The cruise line pays us after you sail; you pay nothing extra.
No. Cruise fares are set by the cruise line and are the same whether you book direct, online, or through an advisor. You pay the published fare. We're paid by the cruise line after you sail — not by you.
The cruise line does. Your card is charged by the cruise line for the deposit and any later payments. KruiseLux never holds your money. Accepted forms are the major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) or a cashier's check / money order — cruise lines don't accept personal checks or cash.
KruiseLux advisors book through the Cruise.com Host Agency — an established, CLIA-member cruise agency. That gives our small team the same cruise-line access, rates, and back-office support as a large agency, while you deal directly with us. If you'd rather book yourself, we also keep a plain link to Cruise.com on every sailing.
Us — the KruiseLux team, not a call center. Someone on the team is always reachable, and your booking never depends on one person's calendar. We'll handle changes, cancellations, and questions with the cruise line for you.
Some cruise lines don't allow US-based agencies to book for residents outside the US and Canada. That's why we ask your country of residence up front — we'll only quote sailings we can actually book for you, so there are no surprises later.
Cancellation terms and any penalties are the cruise line's, and we'll spell them out on your quote before you book. If you cancel, refunds are returned the same way you paid, by the cruise line. Tell us and we handle the paperwork.
The cruise line pays us a commission after you sail; the fare you pay is the same either way. Our advice is driven by our price data — that's the whole point of KruiseLux — and we'll happily tell you to wait if the numbers say so.
Your card goes to the cruise line, not to us. Same fare as booking direct.
